Five Modes

Exploring the evolution of form through five stages of visual communication.

This MassArt project challenged me to transform a single hand-drawn illustration through five distinct modes of design. Beginning with an original drawing, I digitized the artwork and expanded it into a custom alphabet, repeating pattern, and ultimately a logo system that combined typography and imagery. The project explored how one visual idea can evolve while maintaining a cohesive identity.
